COLUMBUS, GA –The Columbus Lions are proud to stand alongside WTVM, Hope Harbour, and community partners in support of the WTVM Blanket Drive, an annual initiative dedicated to providing warmth and care to those in need during the winter season.
This year’s drive was led by Columbus Lions partner Jennifer Beck, whose leadership and commitment to service helped rally the community around a simple but powerful mission: ensuring that no one faces the cold without comfort or support. Through generous donations and community participation, the drive successfully collected new blankets to directly benefit individuals and families served by Hope Harbour.
At the Columbus Lions, community impact is a core part of who we are. While our team competes with intensity on the field, our mission extends far beyond game day. We believe in using our platform to uplift, support, and invest in the city of Columbus and the surrounding area.
Initiatives like the Blanket Drive reflect the heart of our organization — partnerships that matter, service that lasts, and a commitment to making a difference together. We are grateful to WTVM for hosting the event, to Hope Harbour for the vital work they do year-round, and to every donor and volunteer who contributed to the success of this drive.
