Roger Beck Joins AJ Roque in Ownership of AAL

MORRISTOWN, NJ-In a move that can elevate the American Arena League by combining business experience and arena football knowledge and experience, Roger Beck has bought into the League. After years of ownership, including relaunching the league in 2025 for the 2026 season AJ Roque has opted to sell exactly half of the ownership to Beck.
Overall, as a league, we realize this can and most likely will be a defining moment. During conversations on the move, both mentioned that this is more than just football.
The deal allows Roque, who has spent over a decade in the sport, a chance to dive deeper into the football, league growth, and member franchise viability while knowing he has financial backing.
This also allows Beck the opportunity to build the league's business side in a way a man with decades of business experience could, building on the growth and stability we have already seen from Roque. He will now, alongside Roque, have a chance to guide the league to financial and overall long-term stability that so many indoor and arena football leagues lack.
Beck also emphasized that football is only part of the equation; the rest is really entertainment. He would go on to outline plans that will see teams throughout the league not only retain arena football fanatics' attention but that of the local and casual fans.
They, alongside Commissioner Kevin O’Hanlon see a path that results in the American Arena League becoming (though we believe it already is) the premier Arena Football League. We as a league couldn’t be more excited to see the results that come from the move next spring.
